FF News
Torquay United goalkeeping coach, Kevin Miller, has been with the club for less than a month, but already the former top-flight custodian can see the potential of Dan Lavercombe. "He's got everything for a 19 year-old," said Miller, who himself has only just hung up his gloves at the age of 46. "The only area of his game that is lacking at the moment is his communication, but I was exactly the same at his age. "There is no doubt that he is a real talent. He has really impressed me so far and I know that in 12 months' time he'll be bigger, stronger and hopefully more vocal. "I've enjoyed working with him so far and I am looking to bring him out of his shell more." Miller is enjoying his role here at The Launa Windows Stadium. "It's good to be back involved," he added. "It's all that I've known for over 20 years and if I can help develop the 'keepers, even better. "Even in the pouring rain it's great to be out there working with the lads. Training is bright and fun; there is a real determination and spirit around the place." Source: www.torquayunited.com Source
