Evo-Stik Northern Premier League fans and clubs are celebrating the signing their biggest-ever kit partnership deal.

Following a formal tender process, Italian giants Macron were unveiled this weekend as the Evo-Stik NPL’s new official kit suppliers.

Estimated to be worth up to £200,000 over five years, the deal sees the league’s 68 clubs reunited with Macron, the league’s first official kit partners back in 2008.

Officials say they are delighted to return to the fold of the upcoming Italian brand who supply increasing numbers of Non-League and professional clubs in the UK including the Ryman League.

Ironically, the NPL provided an early entry point into the UK market for Macron, with 30-odd clubs taking their playing kit over the course of the original partnership.

Today, Macron supplies Premier League Crystal Palace, several football league clubs and a number of Evo-Stik NPL clubs like Premier Division Hyde United and Marine directly. Macron also boasts a network of stores across the country who will service NPL clubs, mirroring the way their contract with the Ryman League successfully operates.

Hailing the league’s latest commercial success, Evo-Stik NPL chairman Mark Harris said: “We are delighted to have secured a long-term agreement with Macron. The decision to change was not an easy one but Macron’s offer, competitive pricing, range and quality of garments, was very impressive. The appointment also brings us full circle to where we started with them seven years ago.”

Macron’s UK country manager Andrea Palilla is delighted to be associated once again with the Evo-Stik NPL.

He said: “We see this new long-term deal as another important step in our continuing development and growth within the UK market. I am delighted to welcome the NPL to the Macron family.

“We are working with our network of stores to offer all the clubs involved in the league an excellent products for next season that will be appreciated by players, coaches and fans alike.”
