Just read some of the Crawshaw rubbish from a few weeks back and took a gander at the new guy, Billy.

Suspicions confirmed.

Read the 'Conditions of Use' for this forum or Admin will be after you. You're sussed.

Hmmm prices go up - season tickets through the roof & dearer than league club in the area - new ground - Jeff King is a business man - think that all this proves that 2+2=4?

Was obviously going to happen - got to recoup some of the expenditure on the ground! Still good luck in the coming season to the one man and his dog watching!

Is Billericay too far away or out of touch to get news from less than 10 miles away, or do you just use our forum and not look at our website?

Thanks to the Conference moving the goalposts, it cost the club around £250000, I believe, to put in new terracing etc before last season's deadline.

Hope this doesn't bring out the Gravesend boys who will no doubt ask why we spent the money, but if it does, then I'm sure the true Canvey fans will be only too pleased to offer explanations.

Oooooo wilf, touchy. Perhaps you will just as touchy when you eat humble pie next season.

It was just an enquiry, ya know. I don't have the time to read ALL the postings but what I do read I comment on and your response wasn't that time consuming, was it. Just to fill me in.

I fully understand why you spent the money - we both had the opportunity to get to the conference - imagine winning the league and not being allowed promotion? That would be worse than coming 2nd!

My only feeling about all of the complaints is that although everybody is moaning, they (the hardcore Canvey support) will still be there, so the club gets what it wants anyway (the extra cash).

Still, we've got to look forward to dearer prices next season too, but then again, we're at a higher level!

At least you won't have to put up with all the segregation at matches (how am I going to change ends at half-time?).....
