Do you think there is a chance we can top 2000 on Saturday. I will be making my 1st home appearance on Saturday, lets hope for a similar scoreline from 2 years ago 3-0

It would be good to see 2000+, and even better if the scoreline goes our way.

This and barnet are the two games I am really woried about, but then again I was fretting in the first half against stevenage.

We will do well to equal last weeks attendance.

 

Hereford won't bring as many as Stevenage , and we will have a few slope off to Priestfield .. lets hope the impressive form persuades a few to get off their arses or out of the pub and join the Fleet bandwagon.

how many did Stevenage bring ?

 

we have been taking between 480 and 600 for each match so far. I would hope for the same but last Sats result may have dented some people's desire to go away - though HUFC always play well away from home so we could end up with most of our crowd going away ! :-)

 

I estimate between 400 - 700 will make the trip. 300 went to Margate last season which was further and in awful weather.

If you do bring 6 - 700 we should get near the holy grail of 2000.

 

Stevenage had about 400 odd at a guesstimate, I am sure someone will have the official figure.

I would say that there were a few more than that. Any Hereford fans are more than welcome as far as Im concerened. The Fleet fans certainly wont be outnumbered though. So plenty of noise please from the home support. Last year I never thought Gravesend stood a chance, this year they do. Should be a great match. Certainly an important match for both clubs. Gravesend for one need to cement their position in the league (need some cement on the Northfleet terracing too) if the upward trend is to continue. Come on you Reds !.

Last season 150 Hereford fans were said to have made the trip. But it was in February.

Official figures for away support for Stevenage was 438,Hereford have so far said they will be bringing two coaches and a mini bus,so if they are full up 120 supporters that we currently know about,but like our away support more will make their own way I am sure.

I think our turn out might just surprise you, York fans gave us a Well Done for turning out in such large numbers, 5 and a half hours to get there !!

 

Crawley fans were also surprised for out Tuesday night turnout.

 

We have several hundred exiles in the capital.

Unfortunately your turn out did not suprise us , as it was down on the weeks before, and whilst the home numbers went up the overall crowd was disappointing.

 

Can you please turn up in bigger numbers next season.

A team as good as Gravesend shouldnt be relying on a large turnout from fans on the other side of England to keep your crowd average on the up!

Sorry to disappoint but 300 is not bad really!Would you settle for bringing 300 to Hereford?I think so.

If we had a few hundred exiles living within a 30 mile radius of Hereford, I think we could.

 

No dig mate, but we always hear how many away fans are going to turn up, and then when less than half that number turn up , get comments like ' thats not a bad turnout really, and its more than you bring to our place.

Which is true, but hardly the point.

We don't shout about our large attendances,we just bemoan the lack of the, as it stops us competing on a level playing field.

However in 4 years the average has trebled, so we must be getting something right. Long may that continue.
