Anyone online this morning ? J3-J4 M25 closed any idea which would be the best route A25-A227 or can you carry on M26 past Sevenoaks and then get onto A227 .Cheers

Allow enough time. Not completely sure about your best option early on with no map to hand, but I'd say the M26, looking out for signs to Gravesend. The A227 is slow going - a country road despite its A status with 30 & 40mph limits because of the villages you pass through. It will bring you to the A2. Don't follow the signs for Gravesend, but pick up the A2 towards London.

 

Leave at the 1st exit, taking the last exit on the roundabout by all the roadworks, which takes you back over the A2 towards Northfleet. Go straight across the big roundabout and down the hill. At the bottom, take the 1st left at the next roundabout & follow "The Fleet" signs. Park just before or after it directs you to turn right under the railway line.

 

If you have time, call in The Plough for a drink - you can't miss it.
