Stevenage Chairman speaks - Spot the Bull!

It appears Stevenage Chairman Phil Wallace believes that his players are currently attracting a lot of attention from scouts. However he says "Our players aim must be to play in the Championship at least, if they ever leave us."

 

The gist of the story is that Scouts are watching Stevenage but he says that, because of the standard that his players are playing at the moment moving to a league two club would simply not be worth it as the step up is not big enough.

 

Its amazing to think that at one club you have to massive ego's in Wallace and Westley.

 

If you were ever applying for a job there you should go in and say this is not an interview to see whether I'm fit for the job, it's an interview to see if the job fits for me.
