Poor decision by the ref - pitch was OK to play on in our opinion. Apparently it was the same numpty ref who called Daggers v Southend off 15 mins before KO during the week so I assume he's off to Bluewater after that was frozen out during the week!

May be a poor decision in your opinion Simon but then I doubt your a goalkeeper who has to dive on the rock hard surface, or an outfield player who has to return to work on Monday morning, preferably without any broken bones.

Truth is, the game should have been called off far earlier, so that the hundreds of Braintree supporters didn't waste their time and money, or perhaps that was the intention..

Well according to our groundsman it was only a small area of one of the goalmouths that was problematic and he could stick a fork in it no problems so it was hardly a "rock hard surface".

i dont think i have ever been to a game against braintree either home or away where their support could be counted in hundreds...or perhaps they all anonymous
