Bulls sign Macron kit deal

Hereford FC have signed a two-year deal with Italian kit manufacturers Macron, which will see the Italian company supply the club’s playing and replica kits, and all branded leisure wear.

Once produced, the clothing will be sold through both the club shop at Edgar Street, (or from the office during opening hours initially), and on an online site hosted by the Macron Store in Neath.

Speaking about this deal, Hereford FC’s Commercial Director, George Webb, said:

‘We are delighted with the agreement we have signed with Macron and believe it represents an excellent deal for both the club and its supporters.

‘The Macron brand in well known in football across Europe – clubs like Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Lazio all play in Macron strips – and we have taken it as a huge compliment that Andy Dyer and Ray Pennock from the Macron Store Neath were so keen to convince us to wear their brand.

‘The quality of the clothing Macron will offer supporters is second to none and the extensive range of leisurewear that will be available by using an online shop hosted by the Macron Store in Neath is excellent.

‘We will be selling what we feel will be the most popular items at the club – where season ticket holders will be entitled to a 10% discount, but having an online shop hosted by Macron means we will not have to pay for and hold as much stock as we move forward.

‘In the short-term we are aiming to have our first items of leisurewear on sale within a couple of weeks and then replica shirts will follow as soon as we have finalised a deal with a shirt sponsor.

‘We still intend to hold a fans’ vote for the colour and design of the away kit we wear for 2015/16 and more information about this will be announced when the time is right.’
