FF News
Tranmere Rovers defender Liam Hogan is looking forward to the trip to Welling United this weekend. The game will be broadcast on BT Sport meaning that it is not the usual 3pm kick-off. Hogan says the squad will try not to let that affect their preparations. He said, "Some clubs won't have the benefits that we're going to have. We'll train and travel down and prepare right. The only thing that may be a bit odd is the food you have to take onboard because it's not really a breakfast and it's not really a pre-match either. "But we have a great backroom team, the physio and the performance coach, who will guide us and the lads are really serious to be at their best as individuals which will serve us well as a team. "Whether it's 12:30, 3 o'clock or 5:30 kick-off time, we'll be ready to do the business." Hogan knows that Rovers will be in for another tough afternoon at Park View Road but says they are focused on putting in a good performance themselves. He added, "Every team in this league can beat each other on their day. Some teams will set up to frustrate us, some will have a go but it's important that we do all the right things. "If we can keep to the standard we set in the first half of the last game for the full 90 or 95 minutes, we'll beat any team on our day."
