Following on from Saturday's 4 - 2 victory Alcester Town have announced that James Robbins' assistant, Dave Poulson, has decided to leave the club.

Poulson, who has previously managed Alcester Town for many years before stepping down following last season's disappointing finish, has decided that his time at Stratford Road should come to an end.

Dave has guided the club through the Stratford Alliance and then into the Midland League.

A statement on their website said "The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave for all the hard work he has put in over the years and wish him the best of luck in his next move should he look to get back into football"
