Good to have Greene back to give us natural width and an extra goal threat. We did pass the ball more but it’s important to remember this was a league cup game against lower league opposition. One thing I didn’t agree on was Ben W-C. He was extremely wasteful, giving the ball away and missing guilt edged chances. Jack Hockney put in an impressive performance and deserved a goal. Liam was very bright and showed what intelligent play we’ve been missing along with leadership on the pitch. With the right service he will certainly be an asset and must be pushing for a starting place on Saturday perhaps alongside Thomas or Blake. We must certainly take this cup seriously now with a chance at silverware a serious possibility. Expecting some changes again for Saturday (Joe and Kirby are obvious) but will be interested to see how we line up. COYT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
