What does everybody else think of this?

Personally, I would prefer "rogue nations" to be brought into the international fold in a peaceful manner, instead of in a warlike manner - and this includes terrorism.

But...whose interests are being served?

Is it peace or petrol which are the motives behind his visit?

If Libya has paid compensation to those families who died at Lockerby and the perbetrators have been tried and punished if found guitly (which one was) and if they have no more weapons of mass detruction then I see no reason why they should not be allowed back into the international community. So what if they have oil. So have we and we can do what we want with it (within reason) so why shouldn't they.

We seemed to have over looked an attractive little WPC who was coldly shot and killed by a murdering henchman of Gaddafy from his embassy window
