I believe they 'like to spread it around'.

team of the month does not always mean the team that is winning week in week out there are other criteria that is also looked upon such as most improved team, the team that is really punching above their weight etcc etcc, if this was not the case then the team of the month should surely be renamed biggest budget of the month

From what I hear Merstham do not have the biggest budget by any means. They do at present have the best squad, they are still winning with some 'key' players missing, few could argue with that.

i never said that they had the biggest budget, but as i said there are teams that deserve some recognition about the amount they have improved, i aggree few could argue that merstham are the team to beat with argubly the best squad. all i am saying is there is more to it
