Thanks to Ruislip Manor for last nights hospitality in their first home match under the new regime. Not easy for them as there is a lot of work going on at Grosvenor Vale as Wealdstone prepare to get that Ryman Premier grading. An entertaining enough match as well for the smattering of hoppers that made the trip. Good to meet up (albeit only briefly) with Lato, Spider, Manor.

And good luck to the very friendly new group now running the club.

Further to the above I see that a member from another's Forum was at the game, perhaps Ruislip Manor should make Lato an offer he can't refuse to come out of retirement to do their programme again:

Ruislip Manor 0-2 Biggleswade Town

Spartan South Midlands Premier Division Cup 3rd Round

Admission: £5

Programme: £1 (if it weren't for the recent problems I'd be disappointed with this)

Tea: 50p (actually 80p, but she couldn't charge me that much for black.)

Attendance: 50 at a guess

Clear that Biggleswade were the better side, Ruislip rarely got a look in. The visitors really should have won this one more comfortably.

Ruislip also have one of the smallest keepers I've seen.
