Any one interested in a Pre-Season Friendly

Recommended Posts

Cockwatch you really are funny, you tried that old witty repost on a previous thread and the tumble weed came rolling across!

I let the previous one pass but let me set the record straight about a few things:

Lace and Wes haven't tapped anyone up, they have told the multitude of friends that they have amassed in football that they were taking over at Colney Heath. They told them that we have had some considerable philanthropic investment. Any players they spoke to before the close of the season about actually coming were still signed on. If you have hard evidence to the contrary then please go ahead and spill the beans. otherwise in lamens terms - put up or shut up!!

They are both young and keen and have a range of new ideas which have interested lots of players in either stepping up or stepping down. We're the second biggest/highest ranked club in our area and things are moving forward!!

1st of all thanks, yeah i think im quite funny.

2nd of all, they havent got a multitude of friends, infact neither of them have many friends in football, and are both probably losing them faster than the 2nd biggest, highest ranked club in the area (not hard between yourselves and north mymms).

i didnt expect you to bite quite that easy, but im glad you did.

i really do hope that you have a succesful season, but i cant see it to be perfectly honest, which reminds me, perfectly honest? not many managers can say that now can they.........

Like i said name names or say nothing, your silence speaks volumes.

We'll be ok and the mighty Mymms are a tough prospect!! Glad you put them as the next based team.

I'd like to wish you luck but am not sure which team you belong to? As for your guff about them having no friends - you are clearly a well informed individual.

If you're not involved why the request dugouts? particularly weird piece of landscape gardening?

Don't see it going tits up - we've had players at training that want to play for us and aren't chasing anyone. Plenty of operating capital, supportive chairman and board, own our own ground, excellent youth programme.

Hardly a house of cards is it?

You got me there ronny, you have found me out, im a dugout freak!

we shall see on the tits up part, im not sure that many people share your views to be honest. dont get me wrong, i have nothing against your club but i worry for your discipline matters with a certain manager at the helm but then again that is your problem!

yes the chairman and board may well be supportive, i mean they let jonno go so long without doing well they must have some patience!! and as for owning your own ground, i dont think that is entirely true is it............

house of cards maybe not, but the cards will soon be flowing thats for certain!!

What a cosy menage et trois this has become. Bazza we're planning a casino night now and the dealers on the tables love a guy with a 'big' hampton.

For your info Cockwatch the parish council have granted the club a life time lease so as long as the club lasts... Once again all words and no facts, eh Roland!!

Jonno won the Div 1 title in his first season and then secured top flight status for two consecutive seasons - for a small club on a tight budget i'd say that was successful (doing well).

hi ronny!!

theres certainly some big 'hamptons' over the village!

a lease is a bit different to owning now isn't it, so i was actually correct wasn't i when i said you do not infact own your ground! im sure wheather the club will last will be put to the test this season so we shall see.......

i understood your 'small club' was the 2nd biggest in the area ron? oh and i wouldn't look past jonno having to win the 1st division again next season!

Not-with-standing your fantastic understanding of legal matters reagarding ground ownership. I'm sure there are a great number of clubs who would love a life time lease. The club is in no danger as for the big hamptons in the village - they've generously paid your entry into the first league game of the season where they're willing to give you a warm welcome.

A club that is small in size can be the 2nd biggest in their level on the non-league pyramid!! Same your IQ is the same as your number of posts!!

you really are a hampton ronny baby aren't you.

why would i have you confused with hatfield town big r?

you can keep your dugouts ronny as they have probably been tarnished by all the many poor players you have had playing for the 'heath' over the years!

love you baby xxxx

Ron, aren't you intellectual phenomenon . An expert on financial issues concerning your perfect football club , an undeniable knowledge of legal matters that involve council owned playing fields . Now its football coaches ! Your qualities are never ending .Will Colney Heath meet your expectations ? Lets hope so or your intellect will be severely questioned .
