Referee BLUNDER

Recommended Posts

Yesterdays match official made a big mistake to allow Chatham’s second goal after the idiot from Chatham blew a whistle with Chatham on the attack.

FA rules are clear - LAW  5 states -

Outside Interference - if a spectator blows a  whistle which interferes with play the Referee action is to STOP PLAY and restart the game with a drop ball.

Clearly the Referee did NOT carry out this rule and the cheat from Chatham got away with it.

Let’s hope Horsham win on Wednesday !!

Everyone heard the whistle. The ref clearly out of his depth and no understanding of the laws of the game.

I couldn’t understand the threat of the abandonment of the game either. As if loosing you’d just blow a whistle.

When we played Chatham very early on in the season there was a guy that could whistle very loudly. Don't think it's an actual whistle but someone who can make a sound like one .

Even so it's not appropriate behaviour.

Word after the game that Chatham DID want Town to win - as they did not want to play Horsham ( who beat them 2 weeks ago at Chatham !!!!

Anypne at the FA looking at those fixtures surely would have thought 2nd ve 3rd with 2nd up for grabs youd want one of your top officials at the game.   Not sure this was the case after seeing a few reports however we cant let this affect our situation moving forwards.

It is the FA after all.

Just take care of our own business Wednesday and see what comes next.

Surely it will be in the referee's report?

Meanwhile, ETFC should make an official complaint to the league and Chatham must identify the phantom whistler and ban them.

I find it bizarre that a 'fan' would travel to an away game intending to blow a whistle in order to affect the outcome of a game.

Chatham seem to have got themselves a reputation now, which is unfortunate. The other Chatham fans know full well who the culprit is. I would expect the club to take action.

That scum Chatham fan has not only cost us a home final, but he’s cost us the runners up shield and it looks like he’s cost many fans a trip to the final as Horsham were only given 400 tickets for last night so the final may well be all ticket!!!  Furious!!!🤬🤬🤬
