Check it out at http://www.leyton-fc.co.uk

Bilbo - You posted this on 22 August just over three months ago, I wonder where it will be next when Del and Steve down tools at Welwyn Garden City due to the promised money running out as their predecessor Paul Tompkins found just when everything in the garden was starting to look rosy.

Rohdent

Again you make sarcastic comment without knowing the facts.

I offered to continue running the Leyton website after Steve and Del left the club. All I asked was that information was sent to me to update the pages.

After 3 weeks and a number of requests I had no response other than Steve Allen sending me links to his excellent photographs.

As you are probably aware a site that is out of date is worst than no site at all. Frustrated with the lack of response from the officers of the club I closed the site. END OF

Terrence Collina - I was good friends with Dave when he was at Welwyn Garden City and we were in regular contact but I haven't heard from him for a while, he's no longer involved at Herns Lane.

Dave is a good guy and WGC Football Club is the poorer for his non involvement. He made the place tick.

Terence Collina - You're spot on, every Club needs a flesh presser and someone who goes that extra mile, that was Dave all over and I get the impression there is nobody like him at Herns Lane these days
