This story is not about a player from an essex senior side but this point may still be interesting.

mamuka Lomidze is a georgian under 19 international who as just played for georgia in the u19 uefa championship. he is looking to turn pro in england and has played for Hinton this season, who are in the herts senior county league, not too far behind the essex senior in the pyramid! He has just received interest from QPR and Wimbledon and will be partaking in trials in pre-season.
