Even Croydon itself is a doddle to drive through if you know all the back routes. ;)

 

Must admit in the 10 years or so of midweek trips to Selhurst Park, I never had any problems. Used to skirt round the south and eastern parts of Croydon, in fact going very near to the arena. Having said that, guess I would've been a little later than players and the like so probably just outside the rush hour. Also things may have worsened in the last 7 years!
