Well Done Wealdstone & Ashford Supporters

Recommended Posts

Taken from this week's MCFA Update

The rebranding of the Senior Charity Cup as the Help for Heroes Cup has got off to a good start, with almost £300 raised for the charity at the opening match of the competition. The supporters of Wealdstone and Ashford Town (Middlesex) contributed a superb £175 to a bucket collection undertaken at the Second Round tie at The Vale with the contribution from gross receipts adding close to £100 more to the funds raised.

In all ties prior to the Final, 25% of the gross proceeds must be submitted by the home club to MCFA, who will then pass the money directly to Help for Heroes. We hope that the competition will catch the imagination of the public and raise significant funds for what is a fantastic cause.

Ashford are now waiting to see who comes out on top in the game between North Greenford United and Enfield Town as Ashford will entertain the winners in the Quarter Final of the competition.
