Hookey Posted August 5, 2012 Share Posted August 5, 2012 We drove down the A127 to Upminster FC yesterday for a PSF, only to find the pitch wasn't marked out and the goals weren't erected. Their payer/manager was suitably embarrassed and apologised, after all it wasn't his fault but the Club Secretary's, for not checking beforehand. Fortunately we were able to get the game on back at our ground but it was a late finish. We played two games of mixed 11s, losing 2-3 and winning 5-1. Rant over.
