Eastleigh striker James Constable says the National League club will relish the enormity of their FA Cup home tie against Championship side Bolton.

Constable scored as Eastleigh beat Stourbridge 2-0 on Saturday to reach the third round for the first time.

Bolton, FA Cup semi-finalists in 2011, are expected to help attract a record crowd to Silverlake Stadium.

"It will be the biggest game in the club's history," Constable told BBC South Today.

"Everybody will be looking forward to it. It is great for the fans and I am sure it will be a great day.

"We have had a couple of long journeys, so it is nice that it is at home. And being against a Championship club is great for everybody."

Eastleigh chairman Stewart Donald says a cup run and tie against a Bolton side that were in the Premier League just four years ago will be lucrative for a club with a capacity of 5,200.

"We do not budget for cup runs so any money we get in is a bonus," said Donald.

"Hopefully it will capture the imagination of the town and get a couple more fans for the long term."

In the meantime, the eighth-placed Spitfires travel to Macclesfield Town on Tuesday in search of their third straight win.

They sit two points and one place above the Silkmen in the National League table.

"I think attitude is going to be massive for us and we need to go there, put in the hard work and hopefully get a good result," added former Oxford United striker Constable.

"It is our bread and butter, we are there to do well in the league."
