FF News
Hereford FC have confirmed that, in line with FA rules, they have applied for promotion at the end of the season. In order to be eligible for promotion, a series of documents needed to be submitted to the FA by the end of November including copies of the lease, company documents, test certificates, and declarations on the financial state of the club. These documents were submitted to the FA in good time to meet the deadline. The next stage is to arrange a Ground Grading Inspection to confirm the Edgar Street facilities meet the requirements for Step 4 football, and the FA team responsible for this have already been in touch with a questionnaire to be completed by the Club Secretary on the facilities of the ground, including sizes and capacities of various rooms. This questionnaire was completed and submitted yesterday. The club has already had a preliminary inspection by the Midland Football League and their report indicates we should meet the necessary requirements for not only Step 4 but also higher levels. This inspection is likely to take place in the New Year, with the final date for compliance at the end of March.
