I take it, following Grendon Rangers demise, that Unite MK will get a walkover into the Semi Final where they will meet Winslow United over two legs, it devalues the competition a bit doesn't it

Winslow Boy - You will know your opponents in the Final on Tuesday night won't you, I wonder whether Leighton Town will play most of their Under 18's side with the FA Vase tie at Eynesbury Rovers in mind

I wonder what sort of side Leighton Town will put out tomorrow evening, I know that their Under 18's have a game this evening against Luton Town Cedars in the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League so they will possibly play a number of first team fringe players so as not to risk any injuries for Saturday's FA Vase tie:

The two teams limbering up last night at Bell Close. Leighton Town won 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 stalemate after 90 minutes, Leighton Town took the lead on 34 minutes through Danny Webb however, surprisingly, Buckingham United drew level on 80 minutes, Leighton Town confidently netted all of their spot kicks in the shoot out and progress to the Semi Final of the competition where they will meet Buckingham Athletic over two legs:

This one is off this evening however will be played tomorrow (Thursday) evening at Winslow United's Elmfields Gate, kick off 7.45pm, presumably the Second Leg will now be at Manor Fields which favours Unite MK so it was good of Winslow United to agree to the switch:

Surprise surprise, the re-scheduled Buckingham Senior Charity Cup Semi Final First Leg tie between Winslow United and Unite MK at Elmfields Gate this evening has been called off, it may well revert back to Manor Fields once re-arranged

The re-scheduled Buckingham Senior Charity Cup Semi Final First Leg tie between Unite MK and Winslow United has reverted back to  Manor Fields on Wednesday evening (11 March) with the Second Leg at Elmfields Gate as was originally planned. Winslow United had kindly agreed to host the First Leg two weeks ago when Manor Fields was unplayable and this would have handed an advantage to Unite MK if they had come away from Elmfields Gate with a favourable result, or even a narrow defeat, however once again the inclement weather we were experiencing at that time played its part.

No problems whatsoever for Winslow United last night at Manor Fields in an emphatic 5-0 win, it is hardly worth playing the Second Leg at Elmfields Gate is it with Winslow United already in the Final where they will meet Buckingham Athletic or Leighton Town who meet at Stratford Fields on Tuesday 7 April in their First Leg tie.

It doesn't look as if this season's Buckingham Senior Charity Cup competition will be completed so here are some YouTube highlights and the trophy presentation, courtesy of Sports Shots, of last seasons Final between Winslow United and Aylesbury FC played at Stratford Fields which Winslow United won 1-0:

Photographs from the 2018 Buckingham Senior Charity Cup Final on Sunday 13 May 2018 between Buckingham Athletic and Daventry Town, it didn't appear to give Buckingham Athletic an unfair advantage playing at their Stratford Fields home as they sadly lost 2-0 to the United Counties League Premier Division Club who were promoted to the Southern League Division One Central last season:

I like this interview with the then Winslow United supremo Paul Alleyne, following last season's Buckingham Senior Charity Cup Semi Final win over Buckingham Athletic and ahead of the Final with Aylesbury, his last match with the Club after a successful two years. Paul comes across as a very competent young Manager who does his homework in a meticulous fashion and it was a pity that he decided to leave Elmfields Gate at the end of the campaign for personal reasons and to go for his UEFA 'B' license:
