Having seen both recently I wouldn't be so sure of that. CG are devastating on the break. Mind you the Hares were missing Louis Bircham when we beat them and I think he's back from injury now, he's a dangerous player. If I was a betting man I'd go score draw.

A groundhopper from another Forum was in attendance:

Old Bradwell United 1 - 1 Bovingdon FC (HT 0 - 0)
Bradwell Sports and Social Club, Abbey Road
Spartan South Midlands League Division Two (Step 7)
Free, no programme
Attendance 82, (and 6 dogs by the end of the match)
Tea £1
Situated on the NW of Milton Keynes, Bradwell has 2 teams who play in Spartan 2. The ground is a playing field alongside the Sports and Social Club, there are also 2 tennis courts and a bowls green. There is a fixed white metal rail around 3 sides, and a single rope where it over laps with the cricket pitch. The only football furniture being the dugouts. There is a small cricket scorers box overlooking the cricket square, and a small club house up some steps. There is a small amount of parking, and enough on street parking nearby.
The teams are currently 1st v 2nd, although Bovingdon's team appeared younger in age. Lots of passion from the players throughout, and an early challenge from Bovingdon meant a free kick for OB, which amounted to nothing. Both teams obviously wanted the win, with Bovingdon applying a lot of pressure toward the end of the first half, but scores remained level at the break. Part way through the second half one of the Bovingdon subs said something within hearing of the Assistant Referee, and was shown the card by the Referee and asked to leave the pitch. He wasn't happy about being sent off. Towards the end of the game a penalty awarded against OB meant that Bovingdon scored, only for the home side to press forward and finally managing to score themselves in the final minutes.

A groundhopper from another Forum was present:

Spartan South Midlands League Division 2
Tring Corinthians 0 The 61 FC 0

The Corinthians gound sits in an exposed hilltop site and the cold wind whistling across the pitch certainly didn't help the players (nor the spectators) in what was a dour game accurately reflecting the teams positions as the bottom two in the table. I was therefore not expecting a goal fest (although one would have been nice). It was a reasonably even affair through the first half with few chances created but in the final few minutes a moment of indiscipline from a 61 forward saw him red carded making the task even more difficult for his teammates. Early in the second half a second 61 red followed again totally unnecessary and the remainder of the game was played in the 61 half with the nine men battling to save a point. This they managed largely due to an impeccable display by Daniel Bobioski their keeper who made two terrific saves and who's handling was faultless, cleanly catching every ball Corries threw into the box.
So here was yet another game influenced by red cards that were totally avoidable and as previously reported by a number of posters on this forum this is indeed becoming a worrying trend this season.
The Corries ground offers little in the way of spectating areas with one side roped off close to a hedge and the other bordered by a fence. The main standing area is behind the goal at the car park end which has a rail to the right of the goal and is roped on the other side past the changing room block which stands adjacent to the pitch. A covered extension in the corner offers protection on wet days. Thankfully the small clubhouse was open with bar, hot food and a friendly atmosphere and particularly on this day, warm. The officials changing rooms are also in this building.
On the wall on the rear of the changing room block a smart piece of street graffiti welcomes visitors to Tring Corinthians. It was a poor game but as us enthusuasts know every game is fascinating in some way and despite the lack of quality this was no different.
