Did you hear why Heybridge was called off?

Essex FM said it was because their changing room was flooded, it's not 1st April for three more weeks so it must be true.

 

Hendon must of forgot their wellies. Heybridge must of forgot to turn the tap off. (Allegedly, that is get out of jail card isn't it?)

They did this against us last season. It didn't really matter to us sitting in 10th place at the time, but they were deep in relegation battles at the bottom. Me and a few other Bedford fans went all the way to the ground only to find it was called off, we looked around for someone and he said waterlogged pitch, I clambered on and found it to be in almost perfect condition...so we went home and came back the next Tuesday, and what was the score? 1-0 to Heybridge (dodgy goal, two players fouling the goalie)... and worse than that... they stayed up by a point. They seem to do it when they need a result, or know they couldn't get it at the time of the fixture.
