Harrogate Railwy Reserves Champions!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the team of Harrogate Railway Reserves who today following their 1:0 win Over Emley reserves are crowned Second Division Campions for the first time in their history.

Well done to everyone what ever role they have had to play this season.

Whats great is the success following last season when through the problems at the club curtailed the reserves push for the championship last year.

For the record the goal that decided the title was scored by Pete Wrigley midway through the second half from close range.

The people most deserving though are PETER BINKS & KEITH LARGE who's dedication and management have made the reserves into the team that they are.

 

Also a mention to those players whatever role they have played this season big or small, its unfair to pick individuals out.

 

Congratulations to all concerned.

 

 

Personaly id like to thank the players for their time and trust over the last couple of seasons its most appreciated and im proud to be associated with each and every one of them.

 

Their the first harrogate side to win the league since harrogate town in the season 1985/86.

the thing is do most forums suffer from this towards the end of the season, where the team has nothing to go for and people now are looking towards the end of the season, for holidays and ect.

wre lucky that the reserves still have cups and an unbeaten record to play for where the first team have nothing to play for but pride and now are looking towards next season.
