Kettering, Ford, Basingstoke or Maidenhead?

The battle to avoid the play offs and make the top 13 is hotting up, Bognor are now safe in the conference south and now it is any 3 from 4.

Personally I want to see Ford go up but, on paper they should not have a chance against Canvey, but since they Canvey crossed the finishing tape, what 4 games without a win.

 

Kettering should be alright against an Aylesbury team already bottom, with fans who are brilliant the Ducks fans get behind them even though they are 10 points adrift.

 

That just leaves a straight fight, level points two games to go each, Maidenhead away to Hornchurch who still believe they can get 2nd from Hendon. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and Basingstoke away to Kingstonian who after beating Ricay last weekend are fighting for a play off place themselves.

NO offence to Ford but they will be an embarrasment in the new division with thier crowds (mind you we can't talk this season) and that dump of a ground.

Kettering won, and are up, the other three all lost so now it's perm two from three with one game to go.

 

Maidenhead are at home to Aylesbury, so they should win that.

 

Basingstoke are at home to Sutton and Ford are away at Harrow. Both very difficult to call.

I know Ford are away and Basingstoke home, but I would rather be in Fords shoes of trying to get result from Harrow, we did. Than try to do Sutton very tricky.

Hopefully Basingstoke do us a favour and that dump Fordbridge aren't in Conf. South next year, cos their attendances (more of a small gathering than a crowd) and their ground will disgrace the league (not that our ground's much better, but at least we play football)
