Scouse Eggs

Two Scousers were riding along the M62 from Manchester to Liverpool on a motorbike. They broke down and started hitching a lift. A friendly trucker stopped to see if he could help and the scousers asked him for a lift. He told them that he had no room in the wagon as he was carrying 20,000 bowling balls but would see if he could repair the bike..

The driver tried everything he knew but was unable to help. Time was getting on now and being late for his delivery, he told the scousers he would have to leave. They asked him if he could squeeze them and their bike into back of the truck with the 20,000 bowling balls, and eventually he agreed.

They finally set off but by this time the driver was very late, so put his foot down. Inevitably, he was stopped by a police patrol car for speeding.

The officer asked the driver what he was carrying.

" Scouse eggs" he replied sarcastically.

The policeman obviously didn't believe him so decided to take a look. He opened the back of the truck, quickly closed it again and locked it up. Rushing back to his patrol car, he radioed through to HQ, requesting as many officers as possible as back-up. The dispatcher asked what the emergency was that required so many officers to attend.

"I've got a wagon with 20,000 Scouse eggs in it. Two have already hatched and the little * * * * * * *'s have already managed to nick a motorbike. !!"
