The Football Conference have told the Club that unless they can guarantee to return to Hartsdown Park by the start of next Season it would be in breach of the terms of its membership and would be immediately suspended from the competition.

 

Well, bad news guys as I have heard from a good source at the conference is that when they have their next meeting, they will suspend Margate FC as they believe that wont have the new ground ready for next season.

 

They believe Margate have been given enough chances to resolve this situation and have failed to deliver thier promise.

"A good source" told you. Have you been listening to your ketchup bottle again. The Conference would not kick us out on the "belief" that the ground won't be ready-it would have to be final and definate and I've always thought John Moules to be quite supportive. So-anonymous, stop being a scare mongering killjoy or be more succinct with your info. We already know if the ground isn't ready we'll be in breach of contract and will be expelled but there's a chance we'll get it approved and then it will be a race against time. They won't kick us out at the next meeting if there is still a chance.
