... the older persuasion remember the Enfield v Skem Amateur cup quarter-final of 1969? Was my first trip to Southbury Road and it was probably one of the best non-league games I have ever seen. I think Burns and Joicey from Skem went on to play in the football league. Does anyone have an idea as to what the crowd was that day?

Was probably seasonally adjusted as of course nobody in amateur football got paid then!!!!!!!

and it was never true that all players had two pairs of boots...the first pair were of a normal size, but the second was three times as big with special slots to take notes of the realm...allegedly!
