Sniifer Thorns will soon be returning to a TV set near you, I am doing a program that I think will be on terrestrial TV in Bushey on Wednesday.

 

All I know it the program is about funny/wacky/mad challenges that would break the world record if there was one. I am one of 8 people to do a secret challenge (which I don't even know yet) and parts of this'll be shown over the course of the series and the viewers have to guess what the challenge may be.

 

There will also be an interview with yours truly.

Just so you are clear on the show: We are making an eight part series

called The People's Book of Records that will broadcast primetime on

Channel 4 in February 2003. In the show, everyday people compete to set

unlikely and silly world records, for example, How quickly can you run up

a flight of stairs without bending your legs? or How long can you

cuddle a Yorkshire Terrier made out of ice?

 

Your challenge is the only unknown challenge of the series, ie: all the

contestants on this challenge are unaware of what they will be

competing in prior to the day. For the Unknown challenge, you, along with seven

others, will take it in turns to enter a space with one of our referees

(our refs adjudicate all the challenges in the series). In the space

you will be informed of the challenge and will have to carry it out. You

will be filmed carrying out the task and there will be an overall

winner. However, when the series is broadcast we will show only your

reactions to carrying out the challenge and will keep the viewers guessing

what has taken place. At the end of the series, all will be revealed!

 

It will be lots of fun! Although we can't give you any clues about what

the challenge is, we can promise that it isn't playing on phobias,

frightening or disgusting in anyway. We can also promise that it will be as

mad, daft and lighthearted as the rest of the show! We need people to

come psyched up and dedicated to the challenge so I'll be speaking to

you soon about your prepartion!

Well I did it.

 

Very strange, all I will say it involved touching a ryman leauge ref and I was knackered afterwards. My interview was very funny and I am the last person to go on (show 8). i didn't win either.

 

I actually saw the pilot of the show and it's [censored] good, it's going to be very popular. It's on ealry next year on Channel 4 PRIMETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to start being recognised again!!!!

If there were to be a complete list of people in order of fame, i.e. 1st to 6 billionth, who would be the highest placed out of the posters on here?

My initial thoughts are;

Colin Zeal - Blur wrote a song about him

SSL - I suspect this is just a pseudonym for the ghost of a dyslexic Screaming Lord Sutch?

By the sounds of it EFMTFTV's appearance on Channel 4 next year may see him climb from 6 billionth to 5,999,999,999th, but only if the Ryman league ref he touched dies of the plague!!
