I'm an A-level student(media, history and sociology) and on saturday's I work in Costa Coffee in the Maltings.

I'm an A-Level student studying History, Psychology and Sociology. I'm also the local hack for the NLP and the Herts Ad, the SACFC researcher for Championship Manager, and on Sundays my name is Mandy.

GHA-Do you really work at the Herts Ad? I'm so jealous,I've always wanted to be a journalist and am applying to study it at Uni. I'm trying to get work experience. Do you go to college or 6th form?sociology is brilliant,just done my course work for it. What areas are you studying in Socio. and History?

• 6th Form at Verulam.
• Sociology; This year, it's World Sociology, Theory and Methods and Crime and Deviance.
• History: Parliamentary Reform, The Liberals, and The Bourbon Dynasty in France.

ahhhh...Verulam-my brother's old school. Sorry about the spanish inquisition earlier!I'm also doing Theory& methods and Crime&Deviance but we're doing Religion instead of world sociology.Last year in history was the most boring ever-it was all Germany,Germany,Germany! This year is better,we're doing Vietnam, The Cold War and the collapse of British Colonialism.WOO-HOO!

Re: Sociology. Thankfully I'm not doing religion. That kind of stuff doesn't really interest me.

 

Re: History. Count yourself lucky you're doing wars and stuff. I think my three favourite topics would be WWII 1939-45, Roman war and one other fighting-related thing, such as the Vietnam war. They would be much more interesting than what we're doing right now. Although I should be thankful I'm not doing something like Tudor Monarchs through the ages!
