Girl Band secret gig guess work

There is a secret gig next Wednesday at <table><tr><th><font size="-1">Spoiler below:</font></th></tr><tr><td bgcolor="#DDDDDD">[color:"#DDDDDD"] Well it wouldn't be a secret if I posted it on here <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> </font></td></tr></table> all I know is the following info:

 

They are a Top 40 girl band

They are published by Warner Brothers

 

They are playing new material to try it out.

 

Although I haven't checked any websites yet the guess's seem to be either the Sugababes or Atomoic Kitten, either way i'm at the front!

 

Any ideas?

All Saints

Metallica

Sugababes

Eternal

Spice Girls

I though maybe the Appletons (All saints). Spice Girls would be a shock. I suppose Eternal have to return at some point or make a statement saying they've quit. Metallica wouldn't get their drumkit ibto the venue (it's that small).

 

Apparently this band has recently released a album, I'm moving towards the sugababes as they would probably play with a real band as well and sing live (which could rule the kittens out).

 

However the sugababes are signed to London records, but of course they may still be published by Warner Brothers, I need someone with the album or a single to take a look!

 

Anymore ideas?

That's true no-one actually said it was a teeny band, I guess it could be a all girl rock band.

Top 40 though hmmmmm, I've got their single Cookie Monster and that was nowhere near the Top 40.

Metallicas drum kit aint that big! I think James Hetfield should go out with one of the sugababes. Also METALLICA aint a girl band!!! i would like to see you mess with Mr Hetfield.

What about Whole? Or maybe L7 are making a come back! Watch out for those used sanitary towles! OR: Kenicke(spelling? the one Lauren Laverne used to be in), the Nolans, The Go Go's errrrrrrrr.... were the Bangles a girl group?

(W)Hole always had men in it - but L7 certainly didn't. The only band ever to put more energy into a Dead Kennedys cover than was contained in the original (Let's Lynch the Landlord) and for that, alone, they deserve respect.

Kenickie were a poor man's Wedding Present or, worse, Hefner.

The ugly ones in the Bangles looked like men in drag.
