Got to work this afternoon and they had accidently put two of us on late shift, so they said go shopping for a couple of hours. I went to HMV Oxford Street and took advantage (4 times) of thier 2 for £22 offer and brought:

Stero-typical - The Specials

Blind/Reading Writimg Arithmetic - Sundays.

 

The Sundays album was 2 albums in one pack (counts as 1 album in the offer but you actually get the original albums). They have loads of these packs - Gomez (all 4 of thier albums in 2 packs), Idlewilds first couple of albums, Supergrasses Coco and Supergrass album and tons more.

 

Anyone got the albums I brought today, any good?

The Coral & Jimmy Eat World are particularly worth while.

 

As for the avalanches, worth getting if only for 'Frontier Pyschiatrist' apparently the album has a whopping 900 different samples on it. Madness.

Frontier Pyschiatrist is a track on this album, I haven't heard it yet but my mate at work reacons it's the best thing on there!

Jimmy Eat World: Bit mainstream and a bit pop-aimed if you're specifically looking for their type of genre. That probably doesn't make sense so I'll say that it's like going into HMV to buy a rock album and getting Linkin Park. Comprendé?
