Great, thanks for your efforts, they're out really early and Phil Rolt deserves a big pat on the back.

Well he wasn't obliged to get the January fixtures out on 2 December, he could have waited another week or two. See what I mean now about the beauty of monthly fixtures as opposed to a job lot for the whole season, I bet you can't wait for your trip to Holmer Green on the first Saturday in January as opposed to knowing about it in early August, where's the fun in that.

no actually I'd rather know the fixtures for the whole season in August as said before. But I forget you don't listen do you you opinionated twerp.

Lato - I can't believe that there is such strong feeling on here in getting a seasons fixtures in one hit in August as opposed to the quite satisfactory monthly system we get now. Phil Rolt has a horrendus time in trying to juggle all the 'outside' Cup fixtures around our own SSML league and cup games and it would surely be an impossibility anyway to publish a full season's fixtures even if he wanted to, although no doubt Potters Bar Town will come out of the woodwork in two minutes or so to give us his take on that.

I must say i am for and against the monthly publishing of fixtures, i am against it, as it is impossible to plan anything i.e minibuses extra time for travel in advance if you dont know next months fixtures, some minibus firms expect payment in advance and offer discounts if you use their service over the whole year, With monthly fixtures its impossible to give them times and dates when teams would need to hire. On the other hand, with the fixtures being dished out monthly, it kind of gives the league that soap opera feeling of not knowing who will play who and when! and really stirs up an atmosphere and anticipation as to when they are going to be Sent out!

I think last season, fixtures until the end were produced in February. It must be a nightmare job trying to co-ordinate everything early in the season with FA competions & replays as well as having to deal with Herts, Beds, Bucks, Essex, Middlesex county associations (& i'm sure there is another one) as well
