Chaddesley keeper offered trials at Crewe and Bury

Recommended Posts

16 year old Chaddesley goalkeeper Steve Parker has been offered trials by both Crewe Alexander and Bury FC. Parker has been watched by scouts from several league clubs this season, and has consistently impressed. He has already trained at Bury's Gigg Lane and has been invited back for a further trial.

A scout from Crewe watched Saturday's match against Lye, where Parker kept another clean sheet. He has been invited for a trial with Crewe this week. However a terrible 2 footed studs first challenge on him on Saturday left Parker requiring hospital treatment. It has meant that he may have to wait before seeing if he can earn a contract at Crewe.

Unfortunately the Crewe Scout wasn't interested in an aging 31 year old midfielder so I've still got to go to work tomorrow.
