I won't dwell on the performance. Basically, it wasn't great. Slinn didn't impress me, Stirling and Evans didn't have the best of games.

I'll give Slinn the benefit of the doubt and say he wasn't match fit, I'm sure he can do better than that.

 

Miguel at right midfield? Hmm, he was OK but I'd rather see him up front.

 

Overall, the effort was disappointing, do we not want to win any of these 'minor' cups? The lack of a crowd didn't help either, possibly the worst I can remember for a first team game.

 

Still, we can look forward to Hitchin now and revenge for that home defeat.
