Vanarama National League club Aldershot Town winger Rhys Browne is once again on the road to Russia 2018 this weekend as part of the Antigua & Barbuda squad which faces Guatemala in a two-legged CONCACAF third round World Cup qualifier.

After beating Saint Lucia 5-4 on aggregate in June’s second round, the Benna Boys – 105 in the FIFA world rankings – now face the 108-ranked Guatemalans on Friday, 4th September and Monday, 8th September.

The first-leg, which kicks-off at 1.05am on Saturday morning British time, is at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, with the return played at the 30,000-capacity Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City. Kick-off for the second-leg is 3.06am GMT on Tuesday.

Victory against Guatemala will see the Benna Boys, who are managed by former Polish international midfielder Piotr Nowak, placed into a qualification group alongside the United States of America, Trinidad & Tobago and either St Vincent and the Grenadines or Aruba.

The top two teams from this group advance to the fifth and final qualification round, scheduled for October 2017.

The 19-year-old, who played in both legs against Saint Lucia, joined the Shots after being released by Charlton Athletic in the summer.

Other members of the squad which faced Saint Lucia included the team’s captain, Joshua Parker of Aberdeen, Hull City striker Calaum Jahraldo-Martin, York City’s Marvin McCoy, Connor Peters of Dagenham & Redbridge, Millwall’s Mahlon Romeo, and Woking duo Kieran Murtagh and Reece Beckles-Richards.
