FF News
Braintree Town have appointed Hakan Hayrettin as their new manager. After a successful playing career in both the Football League and in senior non-League football, Hayrettin managed for ten years at Waltham Forest, Thurrock and Grays Athletic. In the summer of 2013 he was invited to join John Still at Luton Town and was part of the successful management team that secured the Conference (National League) title and promotion back to the Football League in 2014. He remained at Luton in the Football League until leaving with Still last December. He met with the Braintree players yesterday and will take training this week before Saturday's trip to Lincoln City. Hayrettin was delighted to join the club: "I won't promise miracles, but we'll all be working very hard to turn our fortunes around and that started last night. As I said to the lads earlier: Let's go to work!" Source: www.footballconference.co.uk Source
