Leigh RMI on saturday

I was certainly one of those bemoaning a lightweight midfield and lack of service up front and I hold my hand up to that. I do think we have had some "easier" games recently, but Shots (away), Hereford and Accy (Away) will start to test us again - although I feel we have as good a chance as any - especially building upon our defence. It would be great to have Mints and Lee back. Any news on Mints and when he is due to return? - it's like waiting in a maternity ward for news - our official website hasn't given any indication.

This may seem a little controversial, but I think having Lee out has allowed Junior to play to his strengths. I felt he was a real workhorse against York and today against Leigh.

I can't beleive how tight things are between 6th place and 15th - as you say a couple more results and we will be up there with the big boys - long way to go however, but we are over half way and we are holding our own with the full timers and "experienced" Conference clubs.

Although a result at home and three points is great, we must still remain focused to the point that Leigh RMI did not give us a hard game, except for parts of the second half when a couple of subs by their manager put them into a better shape and caused us a few problems.

I thought Scott Goodwin looked comfortable when he came on unlike Midgley who looked a little lost and Hallett just was not given much time to prove anything!!
