Berwick Ponds

they do alot of things like this, every week there are events all over the country,in fact pretty much every day.

Plus there are hundreds of local groups ie,havering borough rspb group which meet at hornchurch library.

You would be surprised how many people are involved in the welfare of birds and in fact all wildlife

UM - Rainham in Kent is not RSPB.

Marsh harriers in Kent - ELmley is best, then Dungeness.

Only time I have seen one in Essex is at Two Tree.

Best place in the UK is Minsmere - go to the Bittern Hide and simply wait for them to find you - we had six at one time all flying around, and then a bittern went and disturbed them. It's the same place as where the bitterns nest.

have seen 3 over rainham (essex) and they are increasing in numbers all the time.

Will agree about minsmere, the bittern hide always produces great views f the marsh harrier, especially perching on the lettered perch's.

Am off over rainham now so will se what i can find!!!

Didn't get up in time to go berwick as i had a bad nights sleep lol
