Fair result in the end, Ash score on 10mins and had 2 or 3 good chances to extend the lead, Bookham equalise within 2 mins of start of second half, Ash retake lead soon after and Bookham score a great 2nd equaliser just as I'm saying "We cant score from open play",

Our keeper gets booked when most including me thought it should be a red catching the Ash forward when clean through (it was an attempt for the ball)but on a yellow was shown (after the game we are told there was a covering defender, but he was lagging behind the striker !!!!) Thought that with the decision it was gonna be our day but lapses at the back allowed Ash to score twice in the last 15 mins or so. We seemed to lack a little bite in our game today. As we all know Ash are a good team unit, play football and work hard for each other.

Oh yes and it was a very good natured game, cant remember any bad tackles during a competative game, so well done to both teams

 

Had a good chat with Johnno who very nearly scored but thankfully his effort was blocked on the line.
