Road to Wembley

Hi all,

 

Last year I 'did' the FA Cup, following the winners of each round all the way from Blackstones to the final at Wembley. In doing that I rekindled my interest in non-league football so decided to do the same with the FA Trophy this year. I started out in the town where I live, Grantham, and have been to Sheffield FC, Colwyn Bay, Vauxhall Motors,Burton Albion, Histon, Ebbsfleet and Aldershot on the way so far. I'm originally from Orpington so it was good to hook up with 'The Fleet' at the quarter final stage. I must say that I have been impressed with the team, especially away at Burton and in the two matches against Aldershot. The game on Saturday was one of my best experiences in football. The spirit in which both teams played could teach Ferguson, Wenger and Mourinho a thing or two. I can't wait for May 10th as I know it will be so much better than that boring Cup Final I witnessed last year. I know you are all really proud of your team and so you should be.
