Another four new signings yesterday for AFCW:-

 

Elliott Buchanan (loan from Stevenage)

Ben Judge (released by Bromley)

Nic McDonnell (dual reg with Bromley)

Danny McGuire (work experience - QPR)

 

It is rumoured elsewhere that they currently have a first team squad totalling 27 players.

 

I think they want to go up this year, and see home advantage in the play-offs as crucial! Be nice to pop their baloon.

What does it say about the the 23 man squad they had already?

I read a lot about how the wombles spend wisely etc etc, and if this new crop help them gain promotion then good luck to them, but given the figures they have recently released, and the additional players they have added in 2008, then it does seem to have cost them a tidy sum.

We've had a loss & a draw there in the previous two seasons, so I reckon it's our turn to take all three points. They've lost their most recent two home league games also.
