Boycie, I meant to ask you last Saturday - was Len Cordell from Redbridge at the game?

A chap in his 70s, spectacles, used to be the the fixture/matchday secretary with John Higley at London APSA and Basildon United. He stayed at Basildon after John got the push in Oct 07 until he'd had enough of the directors just before Xmas 07 and then took the matchday/fixture secretary job at Redbridge.

 

He was on the ECFA committee for nearly 20 years and the U13s County Cup is named the Cordell Cup after him.

Len was at the Redbridge v Barkingside match two days earlier. I had a good chat with him. He's looking well for his age.
