Did anyone else see our former manager, Chris Weller, on BBC TV on Sunday night, displaying his wares (so to speak!)? That big iguana to whom he fed the 2 dead rats was huge, and looked rather fearsome as well ! Brings back memories of the press coverage he got prior to our cup game with Villa a few years ago - lets hope its a good omen for this season !

 

Alongside that, I was listening to TalkSport last week(Bank Holiday Monday, I think) when Wigan were playing, and the commentator was raving about our former player, Jimmy Bullard, who was outstanding apparently in the game concerned. And their guy in the studio (sorry, cant remember who it was) said that was why he had chosen Jimmy as the player to watch out for in the First Division this year.

 

Given that West Ham are now back down in Div 1 as well, they must be kicking themselves that they released him on a Free Transfer a couple of years ago.
