FF News Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Retford United have held an emergency meeting this week in their first steps to stabilise the club after a dramatic few days at the Jones Leek Town officials are celebrating after Harrison Park was selected to host two UEFA U17 European Championship Elite Round Group 6 matches at the end of March. The Football Association carried out an inspection at Harrison Park just over a week ago and have now confirmed that the following games will be played at Blues’ headquarters: Sat 21 Mar Romania v Slovenia 7.00pm Thur 26 Mar Slovenia v Norway 7.00pm Both matches will be free to enter. Commenting on the FA’s decision, Leek Town Chairman Andy Wain said, “We are very honoured and proud that the FA have picked us to stage these games. “We are only one of 2 Non-League Club venues to be used with other games being staged either at Football League grounds or at St Georges Park.
