FF News Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 Forest Green Rovers are looking to add to the coaching set-up in its youth system in preparation for the 2015-16 season. The youth structure has openings for coaches to work within the Foundation phase (7-11 year olds) and the Development phase (12-16 year olds). Having made major progress in recent seasons, the youth set-up is keen to add coaches who are eager to be part of its on-going success. Head of Youth Scott Bartlett said: “We are always striving to improve what we do as we get closer and closer to League football. “We’ve really closed the gap in recent years and our coaches are a hugely important part of that. “We have some opportunities to join our team in various roles and would like to hear from individuals interested in being part of our on-going success.” Main Roles/ Responsibilities - Early Development of youth players- Planning and delivering quality coaching sessions- Evaluating of players performances during the season- Monitoring individual and team performances within training and games- Be able to commit to a training programme of one/two sessions a week and be able to attend match-day programmes on a - Saturday or Sunday (dependent on age group) Requirements - FA Level 1, FA Level 2 Coaching certificate (or working towards)- Current CRB check, FA Emergency Aid, FA Safeguarding children, FA Licensed Coaches Club Member Desired Requirements- FA Youth Awards modules 1 and 2 (or working towards) Personal Specification - A committed, motivated and highly motivated individual- Passionate and enthusiasm for developing young footballers- Excellent communication skills and able to work within a team- An ability to work with an array of individuals- A positive and professional manner For more details please contact Head of Youth Development, Scott Bartlett via email scott.bartlett@fgrfc.com or reception@fgrfc.com All applications must be sent by Monday 11 May 2015.
