FF News
Cheltenham Saracens have confirmed the appointment of Nick Locke as first team manager, who is starting immediately with the club. Nick has recently guided the Cheltenham Civil Service to winning the Gloucestershire County League and is now returning to Saracens to manage the first team. He first joined the club when he was 17 and played in the first team but a bad injury to his cruciate ligament forced him into helping manage the reserve team and under 18 team. He then had the opportunity to lead the Civil Service 1st team in the Northern Senior Division 2 which has seen them to be promoted to win the County League. The opportunity to return to the Sara's after 5 seasons is due to the players in his Civil Service side who have ambition to progress as that club cannot meet the ground facility criteria to be promoted. The intention is to return to the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division as soon as possible, Cheltenham finished bottom of the Premier Division this season only gaining five points from one win and two drawn games, and regain the stability in the club that has been missing over the last few seasons.
